Sharro JethuEntrepreneur Sharro, has more than 15 years of experience in connecting Chinese and Dutch governments and businesses. Organizing working visits to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and innovative business development in the field of different areas such as aviation and medical exchange for the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs China gives her the opportunity to get to know delegation members working in different sectors and provinces in China. Managing expectations of business partners is important because we work in multicultural teams. If problems occur she is proactive in finding solutions and she is always monitoring quality in order to improve the cooperation. Sharro has a Law background (Master international Law), experience with empowering teams, is informal investor and has expertise regarding safeguarding quality in organisations.

Paul is the owner of the company Cores Environment Ltd: an international provider of waste management services and supplier of reusable raw materials and renewable fuels for companies, institutions and processors. Rethink, Reconnect and Rebuild is the slogan of the company Cores. Before he started the company he worked as director at Sortiva. He has a background in Economics.

Hans van de NesHans van de Nes has more than 20 years of experience in the paper and plastics recycling industry. He developed the Reisswolf formula in The Netherlands and made it to a company that is responsible for the security shredding for KLM, Shell and the Dutch government. He is member of the board of European Recycling Industries’ Confederation division paper and director of Sortiva Paper and Plastics. Hans has a financial background.

Chris BrilsChris is assetmanager and specialist in sustainable and impact investment. He works at Actiam and also has a professional background in tropical forestry working towards sustainable forest management and published on agroforestry practices. He worked in forestry, in mostly South America (Guyana and Suriname). Chris was formerly the Head of Global High Yield at Bank of Montreal (BMO) Global Asset Management and at ABN AMRO Asset Management he was Head of European High Yield until 2008. He moved to Pall Mall Investment Management and served as Head of High Yield there before joining F&C (now BMO) in 2011. Chris holds Master degrees in forestry and business respectively from Wageningen and Nyenrode Universities and studied at geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing at ITC of the University of Twente. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Tomas NicolauTomas Nicolau has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry (equity capital markets, asset management and corporate finance). He works at Nau Securities, an independent equity research provider specialising in Latin American markets that runs a leading ESG consultancy practice. Tomas is also a director in Castille Capital, a provider of structured finance solutions for frontier markets, and an adviser in several healthcare businesses. Throughout his career, Tomas worked in global firms such as Credit Suisse, but his entrepreneurial spirit encouraged him to embark in new projects/partnerships such as Fidentiis (now Bestinver Securities) or Finae Partners. Tomas holds a degree in economics and business administration for Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid.
